Kenneth Benson was a devoted husband to Nettie Benson and loving father to Stuart and Debbie Benson. He attended Roosevelt High School in Chicago IL and was part of the Albany Park community for the majority of his life. He attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1947 where he obtained his license to become a funeral director, after having served in the U. S. Army for 4 years.

As a funeral director, Kenneth was passionate about helping people through their time of grief and was a pillar in the community. He considered his work to be his calling and he devoted his whole life to this endeavor.

Kenneth had attended and was a member of the Philadelphia Church, Faith Tabernacle (founder) and AddisonStreet Community Church.

Ken served faithfully and was devoted to spreading the good news of his Savior Jesus Christ. He served as a deacon and was also a part of the Full Gospel Businessman's Fellowship in Chicago.

Kenneth had one hobby and that was gardening. He received a community service award for his rose garden on Montrose Ave.

Ken was devoted to the people of Chicago and continually served the community until he was 91 years of age. He then retired with his wife Nettie to Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford IL.

Ken will be greatly missed by all. Peace to his memory.
