(December 20, 1930 to February 08, 2012 ) Resident of Chicago, Illinois Visitation Information: Visitation Friday from 3-9 pm at Benson Family Funeral Home, 3224 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago, IL. Funeral mass Saturday, 10 am at St. Teresa Church, 1037 W. Armitage friends to gather at funeral home at 8:30am. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery, Hillside, IL. Obituary: Mary Gutierrez, Age 81, lived a long happy life. She took her last breath on Wed, Feb, 8th at 6:13 p.m, and had her loved ones by her side. Mary was a beloved daughter of Mildred & Narciso Gutierrez. She was a caring sister to Gloria(Arizona), Elenor(Phoenix-Arizona), Lena(Wonder lake), Roseann(preceded in death) and Joe(California). A cherished mother to Rose, Mike, Lawrence, and Anthony. An inspiring grandmother to Ricky(Carol), Ben, Tony and little Lawrence. An amazing great grandmother to Marissa,Anthony,Miranda,Mya and Isabelle. And a warmhearted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Now she’s at Peace with her husband Tony.

The most unselfish person I have ever known. She could make you laugh through her or your own tears, finding the humor of life at the most difficult of times. Her love was boundless for her family.Aunt Mary has left an imprint on my heart forever. She is now at peace and lives through us all in memory of her sweetness, humor and good cooking. Love you......
