Obituary:
Christine Simonsen, 98 years old, was born March 30, 1913 and passed peacefully in her home on November 2, 2011. Christine was the beloved wife to deceased Sigurd M. Simonsen. She was the loving mother of 6 sons: Reuben Villareal (deceased), Raymond Villareal, David Villareal, Daniel Villareal, Gerald Simonsen (deceased) and Martin Simonsen Sr. A dear mother-in-law to Marie Villareal (deceased), Mildred Villareal, Mary Ellen Villareal (deceased), Kay Villareal, Ilse Simonsen and Lynn Siegler. A cherished grandmother to Deborah Feltner (deceased), Elizabeth Sizemore, Linda Reynolds, Lora Johnson and Jeffery Villareal, Kimberly Connolly and Timothy Villareal, Tara Villareal-Perez and husband Joey Perez, Matthew Villareal, Douglas Villareal and Dena Vincent, Dennis Villareal and Pamela Zimmerman, Paulette Simonsen, Adrian Rivera and Martin Simonsen Jr, Eric Simonsen and Marc Siegler. Christine is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, a dear aunt to many and other extended family and friends. Our fond memories and her legacy will continue on...

Even though miles apart - the times we shared were very special and precious. I loved your laughter and that sultry voice of yours. You were a beautiful lady on the surface and had so much inner beauty. You brought a lot of love to the Texas' families and I will miss you.
