Obituary:
Anthony Cappelletti rode his Harley through the gates of Heaven on January, 19 2013.

Anthony also known as “Pops” to his family and “Big Dawg” to his friends was an amazing, strong and passionate man who changed the lives of everyone he crossed paths with. His world revolved around his family, friends, and his love of riding his Harleys.

Anthony’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

He is survived by his 3 children; Anthony, Mindy, and Marchello.

He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; Junior, Daniel, Alannah, Naomi, Marchello, Teran, and Nation

If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye... You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow, What it means to lose you no one will ever know.

Mindy I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you and your family. May God have his arms around your family and find comfort. I hope these words and words from others will give you and your family that. I am at rest so dont cry. It will be easier as time goes by. I've done my best to live a good life. For I knew if I did, I could be with Chris. As my body lies here, its only a shell. God has called me home and my job l've done well. Now l'm happy and content. For the things l've done wrong, I repent. You know and I know that it's hard on earth. So you should not cry at death, but at birth. I have no worries, pains, or fears. Because I'm with God, so dry your tears. I love you all and this is what I want you to do. Put God first in your life and I'll be seeing you. I love you, lovebug!

Anthony, Mindy, Marchello I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. I share in your loss and sorrow. Although our paths have crossed but briefly I have gotten to know a little of you thru the eyes of your father. He often expressed his love for you and was proud of each of you for your own unique qualities. Although he will be with you always in spirit I know he will greatly miss sharing your futures and those of his grandchildren. I am so sorry for your loss. He will remain in my heart forever and I will miss him dearly. I love you Tony.

Tony will be missed . I've spent many hours in coffee shops talking about cars, people, traveling. He always had his family on his mind. While he was visiting Chicago most of the things that were on his mind were his mother, Children and Grandchildren. He was a good Son and lived for Adventure and traveling on the road with his Harley. From: Rich Weldon

A Meeting in Heaven-Written by Marchello Cappelletti If the angels had a meeting, this is what I think they would say. “We have to be ready to open these gates, there’s a special person on the way. He was a great father and grandfather to some, and a friend to all. He will be deeply missed, so we are going to prepare his home here and we will need everything on this list. First we will build his house as tall as the sky and put it right next to his mother’s…just down the street from his friends and biker brothers. He will not want for anything he will have everything he likes, from coffee, to steaks, to his favorite music, and his Harley Davidson bikes. Make sure his yard is huge and there’s plenty of sun, a hammock where can lay, and his windows large enough so he can watch all his grandchildren play. He will also need his guitar, so he can play his favorite tune…we have to work fast and make it perfect, cause unfortunately we had to take him a lil bit too soon. Now, let’s get to work, there’s a lot for us to do, as our goal here is to make his 3 magic words finally come true” For those of you who don’t know what those words are…they always have and always will be the same, all he ever wanted in life was simply NO MORE PAIN. For the greatest father anybody could ask for is gone but he will never be forgotten. This is not just about mourning his death, but celebrating his life. He will always be with us forever and ever in a place where he can never be taken from us again and that’s in our hearts. Loving Son, Marchello Cappelletti

Macho your poem is beautiful I'm sure you put a smile on his face as you read it to him. heaven has gained a great man and you have all gained an amazing angel to look over and protect each one of you. Although he will truly be mssed he is pain free like he always wanted and he has the best view from heaven. He had a heart of gold and I know you have his heart. My deepest sympathies to you and your family I'm here for you if you need a shoulder to cry on. Mindy I know we don't know eachother but briefly speaking with you, you seem like an amazing women and I'm sure your dad is very proud of you. I don't know where to begin. You left us so quickly, no notice at all . It's hard to believe that you are gone. But we will make sure that your spirit lives on. My thoughts and prayers are with Anthony, Mindy and Marchello and all his grandchildren whom he loved so much. Everytime he talked about them his face would light up and have a huge smile on his face. He loved with everything he had. I am grateful that I had him in my life as long as I did. He was always making sure that no one messed with what he loved...and go to great lengths to mmake they were protected. I can still hear him saying "How's it going Shorty ?" I miss you so much already. I know you will still watch over us from heaven. Kykeyu (Cherokee) -I love you, your niece Jolynn
